You're invited to bring family and friends to enjoy a vegan "Gentle Thanksgiving" dinner on Sunday, November 18, at 5 p.m. at Cenci restaurant in Atlanta, sponsored by the Vegetarian Society of Georgia!

A fabulous buffet will feature vegan entrees (including mock ham, chicken and turkey), salad, collard greens, sweet potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, macaroni and "cheese", green beans, mashed potatoes with gravy, and your choice of vegan cheesecake or german chocolate cake for dessert. The cost is only $18 per person, and wine or other spirits are available for purchase also. It's a wonderful chance to see old friends, make new ones, and enjoy a holiday-style meal that respects all life. Cenci is located at 1259 Glenwood Ave. in Atlanta, just off I-20 and Moreland Ave.; call (404) 627-0533 for directions.

VSG will also be launching its "Merciful Menu" program that night, with materials available for distribution to humane societies and cat/dog rescue groups that encourage them to serve only meat-free meals at their fundraisers and events, in the spirit of extending kindness and mercy to farmed animals as well as companion animals. We need your support to make this program a success!

Please RSVP for dinner by emailing info@vegsocietyofga.org or call me at (770) 365-7464 by November 15 if possible. All are welcome! Please cross-post this invitation to all interested individuals and groups.
